- The earliest picture I have found of Stearman airplanes (from the '20s) generally show both the Stearman Stencil text logo and the Wings & Globe loge were used on the planes. At times both logos are visible on the same plane. We offer both so people can choose their favorite. The logos were redrawn from original manuals etc.
